Frogs will ship out to customers via UPS Next Day Air on the same day the cross the border into the U.S. Please select a shipping destination where someone will be present to immediately care for the frogs when they are delivered!

This little gem of a frog is native to the lowland white sand rainforest region near Iquitos, Peru. Ocassionally these maintain the black spots on the red dorsal region (which are present on almost all metamorphs) into adulthood, but in most cases they have the solid red back typical of the morph. Often referred to as R. reticulata "Solid" amongst hobbyists.
These are primarily a terrestrial species, climbing mostly to deposit tadpoles in bromeliads located higher in the understory. Tn the terrarium they should be provided with a thick layer of leaf litter through which they will actively forage, court and reproduce.
