Live Arrival Guarantee

Wikiri/Understory Frogs:

All frogs sold by Indoor Ecosystems are captive bred by Wikiri Selva Viva in Quito, Ecuador or Understory Enterprises in Ontario, Canada, and imported for U.S. sale.  Wikiri, Understory Enterprises, & Indoor Ecosystems, LLC attempt to provide detailed and accurate information through our websites, emails, and other communication, but Wikiri, Understory Enterprises, & Indoor Ecosystems, LLC cannot be held liable for any damages or losses through misuse, inaccuracy or misinterpretation.  Live arrival on amphibian shipments is guaranteed if frogs are picked up within two hours of the opening time of the UPS/Fedex location to which they have been shipped. All grievances must be filed within 12 hours of the arrival of the shipment.  Sexing of amphibians is done to the best of our abilities and is not guaranteed.

All frogs are individually examined and deemed healthy by a licensed veterinarian prior to shipment from Wikiri in Ecuador.   They are subsequently evaluated for activity and feeding upon their arrival in the U.S. for several days during a monitoring period at Indoor Ecosystems.  Live frogs are delicate animals, and we cannot guarantee long term health beyond live arrival due to the uncertainties of shipping stress and care that is beyond our control once they leave our facilities.

Salamanders:

All salamanders sold by Indoor Ecosystems are captive bred at our facility in Ohio and any native species to the state are permitted for commercial sale by the Ohio Division of Wildlife.  Live arrival is guaranteed, and any grievance must be filed within 12 hours of delivery.  

Refunds

All sales of live plants and animals are final.  In the event that an order cannot be fulfilled due to an unforeseen change in availability following your purchase, a full refund of the purchase price will be made via the method of payment chosen at checkout.  If an order is cancelled by the customer prior to shipment, a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from the refunded amount.

Any losses due to mishandling or delay by the shipping carrier will be replaced in the next possible shipment.  If a replacement plant or animal is not available, a credit toward a future order or refund will be offered.
