SALAMANDERS

By far the greatest diversity of salamanders is found in the family Plethodontidae, the lungless woodland salamanders.  This family exhibits a spectrum of life histories – from fully aquatic to fully terrestrial – and everything in between.  

Indoor Ecosystems is working with perhaps the largest captive collection of plethodontid salamanders in the world.  Many of the species have never before been reproduced in a captive setting, and availability of all taxa is extremely limited.

Please be aware that legal restrictions may prevent sales of these amphibians to some states.
