Description: This is a truly miniature and bizarre fern. These grow primarily in extremely low light often on the underside or dark side of branches and trunks. Shown here are mature plants. Growth is extremely slow, with small plants emerging from very thin runners/rhizomes or through spores. These particular ones are native to the White Sand forest of Iquitos but the species is broadly distributed. Keep them moist on a well draining substrate and in low light. Very limited availability.
