This beautiful blue frog is probably the most recognizable of all Dendrobatids. This spectacular morph is restricted to just a few isolated population in forest "islands" within the Sipaliwini savannah region of Surinam. Despite its restricted natural range, thanks to captive breeding efforts by private hobbyists all over the world this beautiful frog is certainly one the most commonly kept and beloved species in captivity.
