Origin: Peru
Description: This fern is a showstopper! Broad hairy fronds slowly emerge from a
fuzzy mass of rhizome. Growth is extremely slow, often only one or two
fronds emerging over the course of several months to a year. It thrives
in deep shade and a moist loosely compact substrate or mounted on a
sphagnum covered pole/branch. Needs constant humidity but seems to
sufferer if fronds remain wet for extended periods of time. Very
limited availability.
