Description: This is a spectacular fern from the cloud forests of northern Peru. It grows in moist sphagnum seeps and embankments most often in deep shade. Newly unfurling fronds are maroon to intense fuscia in color depending on lighting and nutrients available. Incredible terrarium species but not suitable for nano style terraria as it will grow larger than many of the ferns we offer. Sold as small established plants.
